In this tutorial we're going to apply a pattern to a custom selection. У цьому уроці ми збираємося застосувати шаблон для користувача вибору. I chose to apply the US flag to a custom selection made to fit the US territory on the map. Я вирішив застосувати американський прапор на власний вибір зроблений у Fit територію США на карті.

Now, with the help of the Lasso Tool I made the custom selection to “fit” the US territory. Тепер, за допомогою ласо я зробив звичай відбір на "Fit" на територію США.

Probably you have noticed that the custom selection contains the surrounding oceans also. Мабуть, ви помітили, що звичай відборі містить також океани навколо. To eliminate the waters from the selection I use the Magic Wand tool. Для усунення вод від відбору я за допомогою інструмента Magic Wand. With the left Alt key pressed I removed the transparent pixels from the selections (these are the waters). З лівої клавіші Alt натиснута я вилучив прозорих пікселів від вибору (ці води). Now right click on the custom selection and select Layer via copy . Тепер правою кнопкою мишки на вибір призначених для користувача і виберіть шар шляхом копіювання. A new layer will be created containing the custom shape (in my case the territory of the US). Новий шар буде створений містить призначені для користувача форми (в моєму випадку на територію США).

Now right click on the new layer and select Blending Options . Тепер правою кнопкою миші на новому шарі і виберіть Blending Options.

Now click on Pattern overlay from the new window. Тепер натисніть на Pattern Overlay з новим вікном.

Now select the Pattern picker . Тепер виберіть шаблон вибору.

Now select your preffered pattern. Тепер виберіть Preffered шаблоном. I chose the US flag pattern. Я вибрала модель під американським прапором.

Now scale the pattern to best fit your layer. Тепер масштаб зразок для найбільш підходящі для вашого шару.

Click Ok to dismiss the Blending Options window. Натисніть кнопку ОК, щоб закрити вікно Blending Options.

Save your settings Збережіть налаштування

Now select both layers in order to merge them. Тепер виберіть обидва шару, з тим щоб об'єднати їх. Click on one of them, then by pressing the CTRL key, choose the second one. Натисніть на одну з них, а потім натиснувши клавішу CTRL, вибрати другий.

Now right click on any one of the two layers and select Merge Layers . Тепер правою кнопкою мишки на будь-якому з двох шарів і виберіть пункт Merge Layers.

That's it! От і все! For a better look I added the Drop shadow effect to the layer. Для кращого погляд я додав ефекту тінь до шару.
