I remember that a good application on Windows was HDD Doctor, which gave a plenitude of useful information about the hard disk status. Tandaan ako na isang mahusay na aplikasyon sa Windows ay HDD Doctor, na nagbigay ng isang kabuuan ng mga kapaki-pakinabang na impormasyon tungkol sa katayuan ng hard disk. Now in Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10 there is a similar application which shows important information about the status of the hard-disk installed on the system (such as hard disk temperature,model number, total uptime,bad sectors…). Ngayon sa Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10 diyan ay isang katulad na aplikasyon kung saan nagpapakita ng mahalagang impormasyon tungkol sa katayuan ng hard-disk na naka-install sa system (tulad ng hard disk temperatura, numero ng modelo, kabuuan ng uptime mo, masama sektor ...). To check out this nifty utility, go to System -> Administration -> Disk Utility . Upang tingnan ang nakakatawang utility, pumunta sa System -> Pangangasiwa -> Disk Utility.
