In this tutorial we're going to apply a pattern to a custom selection. В этом уроке мы собираемся применить шаблон пользовательского выбора. I chose to apply the US flag to a custom selection made to fit the US territory on the map. Я решил применить американский флаг на пользовательский выбор сделанный в Fit территорию США на карте.

Now, with the help of the Lasso Tool I made the custom selection to “fit” the US territory. Теперь, с помощью лассо я сделал обычай отбор на "Fit" на территорию США.

Probably you have noticed that the custom selection contains the surrounding oceans also. Вероятно, вы заметили, что обычай отборе содержит также океаны вокруг. To eliminate the waters from the selection I use the Magic Wand tool. Для устранения вод от отбора я с помощью инструмента Magic Wand. With the left Alt key pressed I removed the transparent pixels from the selections (these are the waters). С левой клавише Alt нажата я удалил прозрачных пикселов от выбора (эти воды). Now right click on the custom selection and select Layer via copy . Теперь правой кнопкой мыши на выбор пользовательских и выберите слой путем копирования. A new layer will be created containing the custom shape (in my case the territory of the US). Новый слой будет создан содержащий пользовательские формы (в моем случае на территорию США).

Now right click on the new layer and select Blending Options . Теперь правой кнопкой мыши на новом слое и выберите Blending Options.

Now click on Pattern overlay from the new window. Теперь нажмите на Pattern Overlay с новым окном.

Now select the Pattern picker . Теперь выберите шаблон выбора.

Now select your preffered pattern. Теперь выберите Preffered шаблону. I chose the US flag pattern. Я выбрала модель под американским флагом.

Now scale the pattern to best fit your layer. Теперь масштаб образец для наиболее подходящие для вашего слоя.

Click Ok to dismiss the Blending Options window. Нажмите кнопку ОК, чтобы закрыть окно Blending Options.

Now select both layers in order to merge them. Теперь выберите оба слоя, с тем чтобы объединить их. Click on one of them, then by pressing the CTRL key, choose the second one. Нажмите на одну из них, а затем нажав клавишу CTRL, выбрать второе.

Now right click on any one of the two layers and select Merge Layers . Теперь правой кнопкой мыши на любом из двух слоев и выберите пункт Merge Layers.

That's it! Вот и все! For a better look I added the Drop shadow effect to the layer. Для лучшего взгляд я добавил эффекта тень к слою.
