In order to save a new pattern you need to have the image opened in Photoshop (the image which will be defined as a new pattern). A fim de salvar um novo padrão você precisa ter a imagem aberta no Photoshop (a imagem que irá ser definida como um novo padrão).
In my case, the image represents the US flag. No meu caso, a imagem representa a bandeira E.U.. So I have the image opened in Photoshop: Então, eu tenho a imagem aberta no Photoshop:

Now that we have the image opened in Photoshop, defining a new pattern becomes a very easy task. Agora que temos a imagem aberta no Photoshop, definindo um novo padrão se torna uma tarefa muito fácil. Next, click on Edit -> Define Pattern from the top menu. Em seguida, clique em Editar -> Define Pattern no menu superior.

Now a new pop-up window will appear, asking for a name to assign to the new pattern. Agora, uma janela pop-up novo aparecerá, pedindo um nome para atribuir ao novo padrão. Name it as you wish, in my case I call it US flag . Then click OK . Nomeá-lo como quiser, no meu caso, eu chamo-lhe bandeira E.U.. Em seguida, clique em OK.
Give a name to your new pattern Dê um nome para o novo padrão
That's it! That's it! Your new pattern has been saved and you can now apply it wherever you want. Seu novo padrão foi guardado e agora você pode aplicá-lo onde quiser.
