How to play online radio stations in Exaile if the application won't open the .pls file ? Hvordan spille online radiostasjoner i Exaile dersom søknaden ikke vil åpne. Pls fil?

Sometimes Exaile won't open some .pls files. Noen ganger Exaile vil ikke åpne noen. Pls filer. That is because it doesn't recognize the format of some playlists, but that doesn't mean that the playlist  is incorrect. Det er fordi den ikke gjenkjenner formatet av noen spillelister, men det betyr ikke at spillelisten er feil.

In order to listen to online radio stations in Exaile download your playlist to your desktop. For å lytte til Internett-radiostasjoner i Exaile laste spillelisten til skrivebordet ditt. In my case I downloaded the playlist for the MegapolisFM radio station from http://78.24.50.58:8000/listen.pls . I mitt tilfelle jeg lastet ned spillelisten for MegapolisFM radiostasjonen fra http://78.24.50.58:8000/listen.pls. Save your playlist to your desktop. Lagre spilleliste til skrivebordet ditt.

Open your playlist with a text editor. Åpne spilleliste med en tekst editor. For example use Gedit: For eksempel bruke gedit:


cd ~/Desktop
gedit listen.pls


Replace listen.pls with the name of your own playlist. Erstatt listen.pls med navnet på din egen spilleliste.

Now copy the streaming url from the opened file. Nå kopierer streaming url fra den åpne filen. The url structure should be similar to the one in the image below: Url-strukturen skal være lik den på bildet nedenfor:

Now switch to the Exaile window. Nå bytte til Exaile vinduet. Select the Radio tab from the left (like in the image below) and click on the add button: Velg Radio fanen fra venstre (som i bildet under) og klikk på knappen Legg til:

A window will pop up. Et vindu dukker opp. Fill in the fields with your preferred name and description, but in the third field paste the URL you have just copied from the .pls file. Fyll ut feltene med ønsket navn og beskrivelse, men i det tredje feltet lim inn nettadressen du nettopp har kopiert fra. Pls fil. Click Ok . Klikk Ok.

After this double click your just added radio station from the Saved stations drop down menu, select your radio station from the playlist, press the Play button. Etter denne dobbeltklikk på nettopp lagt radiostasjon fra Lagrede kanaler nedtrekksmenyen velger du radiostasjon fra spillelisten, trykker du på avspillingsknappen.
