It seems there are no official methods on Twitter to check if a person you're following is also following you in return. In addition to public updates and @replies, you can send followers private tweets, called direct messages, too. If someone is following you, you can send a direct message from the web via the “message” link on the profile page. What does this mean? Wat betekent dit? Well, it means that you can send direct messages only to those people who are following you. So in order to find out whether a person is following you or not, you just have to check if if you can send this person a direct message. To check for direct message sending, you should go to http://twitter.com/ your_twitter_username /following (replace your_twitter_username with your own Twitter username). Om te controleren voor directe boodschap sturen, moet u naar http://twitter.com/ your_twitter_username / volgende (your_twitter_username vervangen door uw eigen Twitter gebruikersnaam).
