Apps: Best two IDEs to use with Linux Ubuntu Apps: Beste twee IDE's voor gebruik met Linux Ubuntu

When I was working on a Windows based OS, I was using Adobe Dreamweaver to do all coding in CSS, JavaScript,PHP and more. Toen ik werkte aan een Windows-gebaseerd besturingssysteem, was ik met Adobe Dreamweaver alle codering in CSS, JavaScript, PHP en meer te doen. Switching to Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope I found out that Dreamweaver was not working anymore with this OS. Overschakelen naar Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope kwam ik erachter dat Dreamweaver niet werkte meer met dit OS. So I discovered two wonderful IDEs that help me a lot! Zo ontdekte ik twee prachtige IDEs dat help me a lot!

Geany is a small IDE to help you with quick tasks and fast improvements to your code. Geany is een kleine IDE om u te helpen met snelle taken en snelle verbeteringen aan uw code. When I need to make some corrections to one of my documents I always use Geany because it loads fast and so it parses any code (be it CSS, HTML, PHP…). Als ik behoefte om enkele correcties aan te brengen in een van mijn documenten die ik gebruik altijd Geany omdat hij laadt snel en zo ontleedt een code (zij het CSS, HTML, PHP, ...).

Geany supports a lot of programming languages ( full list ). Geany ondersteunt een groot aantal programmeertalen (volledige lijst). It has also support of many languages. Het heeft ook steun van vele talen. Geany is a very good replacement of Notepad/Gedit, if you're still using these. NetBeans is indeed a very good alternative of Adobe's Dreamweaver, if not even better. NetBeans is inderdaad een zeer goed alternatief van Adobe Dreamweaver, zo niet nog beter. It has support of major web development programming languages, such as PHP, CSS, JavaScript, HTML. Het heeft ondersteuning van belangrijke programmering webontwikkeling talen, zoals PHP, CSS, JavaScript, HTML. What I like at NetBeans is that it has all features needed for fast website production. Wat ik in NetBeans is dat het alle functies die nodig zijn voor een snelle website productie. NetBeans supports syntax highlighting, PHP & JavaScript debugging, Code Navigator (displays a tree of elements contained in the document; look at the bottom left corner of the screenshot above), really quick Code Beautifier, Plugins and many more features I still haven't tried. NetBeans ondersteunt syntax highlighting, PHP & JavaScript debugging, Code Navigator (toont een boom van elementen van het document; kijken naar de linkerbenedenhoek van de afbeelding hierboven), echt snel Code Beautifier, Plugins en nog veel meer functies heb ik nog niet geprobeerd. The only missing feature is the ability to wrap code when long lines, but I got used to living without it. De enige ontbrekende functie is de mogelijkheid om code te wikkelen bij de lange lijnen, maar ik gewend aan het leven zonder. Both Geany and NetBeans are free to use.
