In this tutorial we're going to apply a pattern to a custom selection. Dalam tutorial ini kita akan menerapkan pola pilihan kustom. I chose to apply the US flag to a custom selection made to fit the US territory on the map. Aku memilih untuk menerapkan bendera Amerika untuk pilihan custom dibuat agar sesuai dengan wilayah AS pada peta.

Now, with the help of the Lasso Tool I made the custom selection to “fit” the US territory. Sekarang, dengan bantuan dari Lasso Tool kebiasaan saya membuat pilihan untuk "cocok" wilayah AS.

Probably you have noticed that the custom selection contains the surrounding oceans also. Mungkin Anda telah menyadari bahwa kebiasaan seleksi berisi lautan sekitarnya juga. To eliminate the waters from the selection I use the Magic Wand tool. Untuk menghilangkan air dari pilihan saya menggunakan Magic Wand tool. With the left Alt key pressed I removed the transparent pixels from the selections (these are the waters). Dengan menekan tombol Alt kiri saya mengambil transparan pixel dari pilihan (ini adalah air). Now right click on the custom selection and select Layer via copy . Sekarang klik kanan pada seleksi kustom dan pilih layer via copy. A new layer will be created containing the custom shape (in my case the territory of the US). Lapisan baru akan dibuat berisi bentuk kebiasaan (dalam kasus saya wilayah Amerika Serikat).

Now right click on the new layer and select Blending Options . Sekarang klik kanan pada layer baru dan pilih Blending Options.

Now click on Pattern overlay from the new window. Sekarang klik pada tampilan Pola dari jendela baru.

Now select the Pattern picker . Sekarang pilih Pola picker.

Now select your preffered pattern. Sekarang pilih pola Preffered Anda. I chose the US flag pattern. Aku memilih pola bendera Amerika Serikat.

Now scale the pattern to best fit your layer. Sekarang skala pola terbaik sesuai dengan lapisan.

Click Ok to dismiss the Blending Options window. Klik Ok untuk mengabaikan jendela Blending Options.

Save your settings Simpan pengaturan

Now select both layers in order to merge them. Sekarang pilih kedua lapisan untuk menggabungkan mereka. Click on one of them, then by pressing the CTRL key, choose the second one. Klik pada salah satu dari mereka, kemudian dengan menekan tombol CTRL, pilih yang kedua.

Now right click on any one of the two layers and select Merge Layers . Sekarang klik kanan pada salah satu dari dua lapisan dan pilih Merge Layers.

That's it! That's it! For a better look I added the Drop shadow effect to the layer. Untuk melihat lebih jelas aku menambahkan efek bayangan Drop ke lapisan.
