Photoshop: How to save/define a new pattern Photoshop: Como gardar / define un novo estándar

In order to save a new pattern you need to have the image opened in Photoshop (the image which will be defined as a new pattern). A fin de gardar un novo estándar necesitas ter a imaxe aberta no Photoshop (a imaxe que pode ser definida como un novo estándar).

In my case, the image represents the US flag. No meu caso, a imaxe representa a bandeira E.U.. So I have the image opened in Photoshop: Entón, eu teño a imaxe aberta no Photoshop:

Now that we have the image opened in Photoshop, defining a new pattern becomes a very easy task. Agora que temos a imaxe aberta no Photoshop, definindo un novo estándar que se fai unha tarefa moi fácil. Next, click on Edit -> Define Pattern from the top menu. A continuación, prema en Editar -> Define pattern no menú superior.

Now a new pop-up window will appear, asking for a name to assign to the new pattern. Agora, unha fiestra novo aparecerá, pedindo un nome para asignar ao novo patrón. Name it as you wish, in my case I call it US flag .  Then click OK . Nomea-lo como queres, no meu caso, eu chamo-lle bandeira E.U.. A continuación, prema en Aceptar.

That's it! That's it! Your new pattern has been saved and you can now apply it wherever you want. O seu novo estándar foi gardado e agora pode aplicala lo onde quere.
