I remember that a good application on Windows was HDD Doctor, which gave a plenitude of useful information about the hard disk status. Now in Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10 there is a similar application which shows important information about the status of the hard-disk installed on the system (such as hard disk temperature,model number, total uptime,bad sectors…). Jetzt in Ubuntu Karmische Koala 9,10 gibt es eine ähnliche Anwendung, die wichtige Informationen über den Status der Festplatte auf dem System installiert ist (zB Festplatte, Temperatur-, Modell-Nummer, im Gesamtwert von uptime, schlechte Sektoren ...) zeigt. To check out this nifty utility, go to System -> Administration -> Disk Utility . Um zu überprüfen, diese nifty Dienstprogramm, gehen Sie zu System -> Administration -> Festplatten-Dienstprogramm.
